The course aims to maintain and improve health and physical fitness through sports, and enjoy exercises while maintaining awareness and interest in your body.
Learn the fundamental techniques, tactics, rules, and refereeing methods of basketball and become able to manage the game.
Students learn new skills each time and play lots of minigames to test the skills they learn.
As the class advances, students learn about the duties of referees and table officials so that they will be able to manage games.
Each team polishes their tactics and plays a league game after practicing.

スポーツを通して健康・体力の維持増進を図り,自身の身体への気づきや興味を持ちながら運動を楽しめるようになる。
バスケットボールの基礎的な技術・戦術やルール・審判方法を学び,ゲーム運営ができるようになる。

毎回新しい技術を習得し、習得した技術を試すミニゲームを多く行う。
授業が進むにつれて、審判方法やテーブルオフィシャルの方法を学び、ゲーム運営ができるようにする。
チーム毎に戦術を練り、練習をした上でリーグ戦を実施する。

バスケットシューズまたは室内用のシューズを持参すること。
経験者・未経験者は問わない。
1．担当教員より特別の指示のない限り，更衣はポール・ラッシュ・アスレチックセンター（池袋キャンパス）/ 新座体育館（新座キャンパス）の更衣室で行うこと。なお，第1回目の授業より実習が始まるので，運動ができる服装・靴を準備し，授業に出席すること。屋内施設で行う授業は専用シューズを用意すること。
2．天候等により通常の実施場所とは異なる場合があるため，屋内・屋外科目に関わらず，授業前にポール・ラッシュ・アスレチックセンター入口（池袋キャンパス）/体育館入口（新座キャンパス）の掲示板で実施場所を確認すること。
3．当年度の4月に行われる定期健康診断を必ず受診しておくこと。
※健康診断を受診すると，保健室にて通学定期乗車券発行控に「済」印（健康診断が受診済みであることを証明する印）が押されるため，それを初回授業時に提示すること。
※定期健康診断を未受診の場合は，授業参加に支障をきたすため，早急に保健室の「追加の健康診断について」のページを確認して対応すること。
4. 実習中の怪我や事故には充分注意し、担当教員から指示がある場合は、それに従い行動すること。
