Gain the fundamental techniques of badminton with ability to play games for doubles. Cultivate a spirit of cooperation with teammates, understand the appeal of badminton, and develop the behavior and ability to lead a mentally and physically healthy, prosperous life.
The class continues centering mainly on teaching the basic techniques and playing games. Through practicing badminton and self-checking, students learn the cultivating communication skills, well-balanced rationale, and correct judgments.

バドミントンの基礎的な技術を身につけ、ダブルスのゲームが自分達でできるようになること。仲間との協調性を養うとともに、バドミントンの魅力を理解し、心身ともに健康で豊かな生活を送ることができる態度や能力を育てること。

基礎技術の習得とゲームを中心に授業を展開する。実践やセルフチェックを通じて、コミュニケーション能力、バランスのとれた理性や的確な判断力を養成する。

積極的なコミュニケーションを求めます。
スポーツを行う際のルールの遵守、マナーの向上（道具、服装、設備の利用法）を求めます。
1．担当教員より特別の指示のない限り，更衣はポール・ラッシュ・アスレチックセンター（池袋キャンパス）/ 新座体育館（新座キャンパス）の更衣室で行うこと。なお，第1回目の授業より実習が始まるので，運動ができる服装・靴を準備し，授業に出席すること。屋内施設で行う授業は専用シューズを用意すること。
2．天候等により通常の実施場所とは異なる場合があるため，屋内・屋外科目に関わらず，授業前にポール・ラッシュ・アスレチックセンター入口（池袋キャンパス）/体育館入口（新座キャンパス）の掲示板で実施場所を確認すること。
3．当年度の4月に行われる定期健康診断を必ず受診しておくこと。
※健康診断を受診すると，保健室にて通学定期乗車券発行控に「済」印（健康診断が受診済みであることを証明する印）が押されるため，それを初回授業時に提示すること。
※定期健康診断を未受診の場合は，授業参加に支障をきたすため，早急に保健室の「追加の健康診断について」のページを確認して対応すること。
4. 実習中の怪我や事故には充分注意し、担当教員から指示がある場合は、それに従い行動すること。
