This course is meant to improve students' comprehensive Chinese skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing), to enlarge students' vocabulary by discussing hot topics, and to improve Chinese communication skills, and to understand Chinese contemporary culture. The content of this course is equivalent to HSK level 5.
In this course, the teacher will give a topic every 2 weeks. In the first week class, students will do research for the topic through group activities, and then present the results of the research in Chinese. In the second week class, students will read the topic-related articles, and the teacher will explain the contents.

本课程为了提高学生的综合汉语（听，说，读，写）能力，通过讨论热门话题增加学生的词汇量，提高汉语沟通能力，同时了解中国当代文化。本课程学习的内容相当于HSK5级。

本课程中，每两个周教师会给出一个指定主题，第一周课学生通过小组活动针对主题进行调查，并用汉语发表调查的结果，第二周课学生阅读与主题相关的文章，教师讲解文章内容。
