【Course Objectives】

Throughout the course, students will learn how to:

- investigate various academic sources related to international relations and politics
- critically analyze and understand academic lectures and texts
- work collaboratively on group projects and presentations
- communicate effectively using presentation skills, visual media/graphics, academic discussion skills, and written text
- explain and defend ideas and opinions using logical arguments and evidence
- participate in and lead interactive group discussions on topics in international relations and politics

【Course Contents】

This course will introduce students to issues in international relations and politics and provide opportunities to improve their academic skills. Students will learn about topics such as war, diplomacy, trade, and foreign policy. By combining learner-led research projects with collaborative presentations, discussion, creative thinking, and written responses, students will improve their academic English proficiency and hone their higher order critical thinking skills.
