【Course Objectives】

This Internship is a program to learn the practical, on-site tourism business and community activity. Through work experience in companies related to tourism, such as travel agency, hotels, transportation (airline, railway etc.), and seeing various efforts at local sites being created around the country, we aim to provide students with the opportunity to acquire “on-site power” in regions and companies supporting tourism.

【Course Contents】

This internship program consists of preliminary study program, retrospective review and summary of results, focusing on practical training in companies and regions during the 3rd year summer vacation period. The spring semester class prepares students for practical training during the summer vacation, following on from company and industry research, and area studies, learning the manners and attitudes that should be acquired entering the bussines person. In Fall semester, we will review each student’s experience, summarize the results, and share issues with your classmates. Through such a process, we will highlight what was learned in College of Tourism over two years in practice, while deepening consideration on one’s own career path, and identify issues to be studied from now on entering the society.
