【Course Objectives】

This course aims for students to develop perspectives for considering dynamic relationships between the global movement of people and goods, tourism, and culture through familiar examples such as souvenirs.

【Course Contents】

Modern tourism's growth cannot be examined without considering developments in tourism industries that provide various mass tourist products. Citing examples of various industries involved in souvenirs, this course considers how people, spaces, and images are managed in relation to tourism products and how the movement of people and goods through tourism impacts consumption, transfer, and production of culture.
