【Course Objectives】

This course focuses on "Tokyo" as a topos that is achieved by dynamism of human migration. This course aims to analyze modern Japanese short stories in Tokyo's background. To gain an understanding of multi-historical topos from literature, we think of regional promotion by tourism, particularly the content of tourism.

【Course Contents】

This course follows modern Japanese short stories with Tokyo as the background and analyze descriptions of Tokyo. The historical topos of human and materials migration are also considered. Regional promotion needs not only hardware but also human living and thinking as software. Students' learning will be discussion-based.
