Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
1) Examine new ways of working, playing, moving, dwelling, and building local communities through the lens of tourism and mobility.
2) Develop the sociological imagination to consider makes a fair and sustainable society.
3) Appreciate the perspectives and lived experiences of members of social minorities such as youth, women, people in the LGBTQI+ communities and those from migrant backgrounds in order to explore possibilities for building solidarity across differences.

【Course Contents】

In this course, students read sociological literature to learn about the relationship between identity and structural inequality, and gain knowledge of existing initiatives that seek to create a more diverse and sustainable society.
