In this course, students learn new findings and methodologies in the psychology of perception and cognition and develop new research plans on their own. Students also aim to improve their presentation and discussion skills.
Students will select a research theme from the field of perceptual and cognitive psychology in discussions with their supervisor. Students will report their research results (academic papers in English and Japanese) related to that theme in the form of an oral presentation and discuss them with class participants. Through these activities, students will deepen their understanding of research results and methodologies, and develop new research plans. Students will also learn programming and other skills necessary for experiments.

この授業では，知覚と認知の心理学における新たな知見や方法論を学び，履修者が各自で新たな研究計画を立てる。また，プレゼンテーション・ディスカッション能力の向上を目指す。
In this course, students learn new findings and methodologies in the psychology of perception and cognition and develop new research plans on their own. Students also aim to improve their presentation and discussion skills.
知覚心理学や認知心理学の関連領域に関して，自身で関心のある研究テーマを教員との相談を通して選定する。そして，そのテーマに関係する知見（日本語・英語論文）の内容についてプレゼンテーション形式で発表を行い，履修者全員で議論・討論を行う。これらを通じて，研究知見と方法論について理解を深め，自身で新たに研究計画を立案する。また，必要に応じて，教員のサポートのもと，プログラミング言語の習得など実験の実施に必要不可欠なスキルを習得する。
