In this course, students will learn the basic knowledge of how we perceive the external world (including the environment, objects, self, and others) through various sensory modalities, referring to classical studies as well as the latest findings.
Students broaden their understanding of fundamental approaches and methodologies in sensory and perceptual psychology by exploring both classical and contemporary topics in psychological phenomena related to sensory, perceptual, and cognitive systems (especially multisensory perception). Additionally, the course introduces findings in neurophysiology and addresses perceptual and cognitive disorders. To enhance comprehension of the lecture content, supplementary materials and demonstrations will be used as appropriate.

本授業では、様々な感覚モダリティを通して、私たちが外界（環境、物体、自己、他者を含む）をどのように知覚しているのかについて、古典的研究や最新の知見に触れながら基礎知識を学ぶ。
In this course, students will learn the basic knowledge of how we perceive the external world (including the environment, objects, self, and others) through various sensory modalities, referring to classical studies as well as the latest findings.
感覚・知覚・認知（特に多感覚知覚）に関する新旧のトピックを幅広く網羅し，感覚・知覚心理学における基本的な考え方や方法論に関する知識を深める。さらに，神経生理学に関する知見や知覚・認知の障害に関する知見についても随時紹介する。講義内容の理解を深めるために、副教材やデモンストレーションなどを適宜利用する。
