Course participants share texts and videos in the common topic of "utopian imagination" (music, sci-fi, philosophy etc.) to deepen their personal interests. They learn to understand the various aspects of the topic of "utopian imagination", aim to start asking questions on a deeper level than before.
Professor gives explanations of the texts, then, course participants discuss the texts and promote their understanding. Texts are distributed as printed copies.

「ユートピア的想像力」という共通のテーマのもとに, 参加者各自の関心（音楽、SF、哲学etc.）を深めるためのテキストや映像を共有する。「ユートピア的想像力」という問いの多面性を理解し, これまで以上に深い問いを立てられるようになることを目指す。

卒論を書くことを前提に, 自分の問題関心を研ぎ澄ます必要がある。 広く文化史に関心を持って文献やヴィジュアル/サウンド資料にあたること。

卒論を選択しない場合は卒論に代わるレポートを必須とする。このレポートは学年末に提出する。卒論に代わるレポートは共同執筆や論文以外の形式（例えばプレイリストを作って、そのライナーノーツを書くなどが考えられる）も認める。
