What kind of visual media are we influenced by on a daily basis? In what ways does it work? From this study, and introducing new attempts to critique modern cinema, students will acquire an analytical eye, to deconstruct images.
Taking general media video fragments, we will analyze information and non-information, while considering the influence of those characteristics on the audience. Also, by watching various film works produced in the modern world, we will examine critical thinking on various elements and functions of film.

私たちが日常的に影響されている映像メディアとはどのようなものか？どのように作用するのか？を学習すること、またそれらを批判する現代映画の新しい試みを紹介し、イメージを解体したり分析する視線を習得する。
What kind of visual media are we influenced by on a daily basis? In what ways does it work? From this study, and introducing new attempts to critique modern cinema, students will acquire an analytical eye, to deconstruct images.
一般的なメディア映像の断片を取り上げて情報や非情報について分析し、聴講者とともにその特質や視聴者への影響について考える。また、現代の世界で制作されているさまざまな映像作品を見ることを通じて、映像の諸要素や機能を疑い批判する思考について学ぶ。

| 映像を映写した後でそれについて学生に質問する場合があります。 |
本年度は見せる作品をできるだけ選択して、場合によっては全編映写する予定ですので、出席鑑賞できない学生は学習が難しい授業になることを承知して履修選択してください。原則、本学図書館にある作品を使う予定です。時間や権利等の理由で作品映像を援用システムに添付することはありません。期末レポートでも授業の流れを把握しているかどうかが大事なポイントになりますので、講義のノートをとって復習して下さい。
