Acquire data processing skills that are useful not just for campus life, but also for welfare purposes or in society at large, using different document creation techniques, the internet, spreadsheets or elementary statistical processing. Also learn about basic typing skills and campus system mail and file management.
Divided into five broad categories to aid study and deeper understanding, and the acquisition of the required skills.
(1) Touch typing for keyboard input and faster typing;
(2) Understanding campus systems, files and folders;
(3) Using search engines and handling copyright;
(4) Creating reports and business documents in MS Word;
(5) Creating tables and using analytic functions in Excel.
Class attendance is required because training and instruction is involved.
Students who miss any classes will need to study and handle topics and themes on their own.

文書作成技法、ネット活用、表計算や初歩的な統計処理を通し、学生生活だけでなく、福祉現場や社会人として活用できる情報処理スキルを取得する。また、その基礎となるタイピングや学内システム・メール・ファイル管理操作を学ぶ。

大きく分け5つの内容を学び理解を深めスキルを習得する。
（１）キーボード入力と速度向上のためタッチタイピング
（２）学内システムやファイル・フォルダ等の理解
（３）検索サイト活用のノウハウや著作権の取り扱い
（４）Wordを使用したレポート・ビジネス文書作成
（５）Excelを使用した表作成・分析の実施
実習科目であるため出席を前提とする。
欠席した場合は各自で自習・課題作成に取り組むこと。
また、学内のメール確認をすること。

タッチタイピングは毎回の講義で実施するだけでなく講義外でも練習してください。
