Understand the background and outline to the support of the mental health care and welfare, and consider this in relation to the practice of social work.
On the subject of “Principles of Mental Health,” classes are based on concrete examples linked to social work practices, focused on(1) Social exclusion and social barriers, (2) Background of qualification of "mental health social worker" and principles and principles of mental health and welfare, (3) Function and role of "mental health social worker".
In addition, this class is a required designated subject for certification for the national psychiatric social worker examination.
But To develop the ability to keep thinking about the relationship between people, regardless of the qualification of a “mental health social worker”

精神保健福祉領域の支援についてその背景と概要を理解しソーシャルワーク実践と関連させて考えることができる。
広い視野で疑問を持ち続け、自分の中の確からしさを見つめていく力を養う素地を整える土台の一部を自らがつくること。
Understand the background and outline to the support of the mental health care and welfare, and consider this in relation to the practice of social work.
精神保健福祉の原理について、①社会的排除と社会的障壁、②精神保健福祉士の資格化の経緯と精神保健福祉の原理と理念、③精神保健福祉士の機能と役割を中心に、ソーシャルワーク実践と関連させながら、具体例を踏まえて授業を展開していく。
なお，本授業は精神保健福祉士国家試験受験資格取得のための必須指定科目である。
しかし、「精神保健福祉士」という資格にこだわらず、人と人とのかかわりについて考え続ける力をつけていくことを目指していきたい。
