Learn about the livelihood of people from diverse cultural backgrounds and understand the values, knowledge, and skills needed in community-based multicultural social work practice.
We can consider the challenges and what we can do to achieve a multicultural inclusive society.
In the course of social work practice in various welfare fields, we are increasingly encountering people with diverse cultural backgrounds. We will learn about their current livelihood conditions and welfare issues in the community, as well as various community support efforts. We will also consider what we can do to create an inclusive community where we can live together. Through lectures, guest speakers, group work, discussions, and presentations we will learn about the current situation, consider ways to support, and share each other.

多様な文化的背景を持つ人々の生活を知り、コミュニティを基盤とした多文化ソーシャルワーク実践において必要とされる価値、知識、スキルを理解する。多文化共生社会を目指すにあたっての課題と、自身ができることについて考察できる。

福祉に関わる様々な領域でソーシャルワーク実践を行うなかで、多様な文化的背景を持つ人々と出会う機会が増えている。地域に暮らすかれらの生活の現状や福祉的課題と、コミュニティにおける様々な支援の取り組みを学び、共に暮らす包摂的な地域づくりに向けて私たちができることを考える。講義やゲストスピーカーの話、グループワーク、ディスカッション、プレゼンテーションを通し、現状を知り、具体的な支援のあり方を考え共有する。
In the course of social work practice in various welfare fields, we are increasingly encountering people with diverse cultural backgrounds.
