【Course Objectives】

The ultimate goal is to draw up a life design for yourself after entering the Department of Social Welfare, Faculty of Community Development, and envision what kind of career you will pursue after graduating from university. To that end, students plan an activity program that will deepen and expand social interests. Through a series of processes, we will (1) improve information gathering skills, (2) improve information analysis skills, (3) improve presentation skills, (4) improve communication skills, and (5) improve planning and coordination skills. , (6) improve comprehensive understanding of social issues, welfare issues, etc., (7) improve understanding of social welfare in a broad sense, and (8) improve self-insight.

【Course Contents】

This course is aimed at students who choose not to obtain the qualifications to take the social worker exam. Understand career options, employment options, work style and lifestyle options from a broad perspective, and help students make choices that take advantage of their own interests and individuality. Actively collect a variety of information, keeping in mind how to interact with society and how to make the most of yourself, and perform multifaceted analysis and comparative studies. The term ``career'' in ``career development,'' which is the focus of this subject, is not limited to one's professional background, but refers to ``the life that one creates and carves out for oneself.''
