Students will read basic literature in disciplines related to community studies, learn how to read specialized literature, and acquire advanced academic skills.
This seminar will be taught by two faculty members for a quarter each. Under the instruction of a faculty member, students will read two books of introductory specialized literature related to community studies and present their findings in the form of a presentation and book review. Students will acquire advanced academic skills such as how to read, review, and properly cite specialized literature.

コミュニティ学に関わる学問分野の基本的な文献の輪読を行うことで、専門文献の読解方法について学ぶとともに、応用的なアカデミック・スキルを習得する。
Students will read basic literature in disciplines related to community studies, learn how to read specialized literature, and acquire advanced academic skills.
本演習は、2名の教員が四半期ずつ担当する。教員の指導の下、コミュニティ学に関わる入門的な専門書2冊を講読し、その知見をプレゼンテーションやブックレビューとして発表する。専門的な文献の読み方、レビューの方法、適切な引用の方法など、応用的なアカデミック・スキルを修得する。
This seminar will be taught by two faculty members for a quarter each.
