1. Learn the previous research of regional sociology and urban sociology and explain them.
2. Learn the analytical ability from the perspective of regional sociology and urban sociology.
3. Acquire the attitude of sociology to confront contemporary problems of urban and regional society.
The theme of this class is "Urban Sociology and Regional Sociology".
In the first half of the semester, basic knowledge of regional sociology will be explained, and some case studies will be taken up for commentary.
In the second half of the semester, basic knowledge of urban sociology will be explained, and some case studies will be taken up for commentary.

（1）これまでの地域社会学・都市社会学の直面してきた同時代的背景と分析枠組みを説明できるようになること。
（2）地域社会学・都市社会学的な視点で、現実を分析する能力を身につけること。

本講義のテーマは「都市と地域の社会学」です。
学期の前半では、地域社会学の基礎的な知識を説明しつつ、具体的な事例をとりあげて解説を行います。学期の後半では、都市社会学の基礎的な知識を説明しつつ、具体的な事例をとりあげて解説を行います。
