Experience various outdoor activities in rich natural surroundings and at the same consider environmental issues.
Okutadami still remains one of Japan's leading unexplored natural environments. Here, students can experience the rich natural environment through camping, canoeing, trekking, and observing the forests, rivers and stars. Based on that, they will discuss and learn about prospects for the natural environment of Japan in future.

豊かな自然環境の中に身を置いて、自然に親しみ、種々のアウトドア・アクティビティを体験し、同時に環境問題について考える。
Experience various outdoor activities in rich natural surroundings and at the same consider environmental issues.
日本有数の自然環境がいまだに残る秘境「奥只見」。ここを舞台にキャンプ、カヌー、トレッキング、森林の観察、河川の観察、星空の観察などを通じ、豊かな自然環境を肌で感じとる。それを前提に、日本の将来の自然環境の在り方について討議、学習する。

【事前ガイダンス】2024年7月5日（金）12:35～13:15 オンライン Zoom URLを履修登録後に立教メールアドレスへ送付する。
【参加費用】41,130円(保険料130円込)。但し交通費別。
【その他】①５日間を通じ、上記のプログラムを実施する。なお、プログラム内容は天候などの影響で変更されることがある。
②単位を収めることにより、希望者は日本キャンプ協会が認定する『キャンプインストラクター』資格の取得が可能（キャンプ協会に収める費用は別途かかる）。
【事前レポート課題】
足立 倫行 (著), 秋月 岩魚 (著)「イワナ棲む山里 奥只見物語」を読み、以下の組み立てでレポートを提出すること。
第一章は、以下４つの節を設けて論じよ。
第一節「奥只見の地理と気象条件」
第二節「奥只見に生息する生きもの」
第三節「江戸時代から現代までの歴史と産業」
第四節「主要な登場人物とそのキャラクター紹介」
第二章は、「奥只見と持続可能性」というタイトルで自由に論じよ。
