The target of this course is to read and understand the textbook on English vocabulary and to be able to discuss it from the point of view of morphology and history of English.
We follow the textbook on English vocabulary described from the perspectives of morphology and history of English. Each class mainly consists of lecture and class discussion. Students will also give presentations on some sections in the textbook.

英語の語彙を、主に形態論および英語の歴史の側面から説明した文献を読み解き、英語の語彙について専門用語を用いて論じることができるようになることが目標です。レポート試験および口頭発表を通じて評価します。

英語の語彙を、主に形態論および英語の歴史の側面から論じた英語テキストを読み解きます。主に、テキストを元にした講義とディスクリプションを中心に進めますが、テキストのいくつかのセクションを院生に口頭発表して頂きます。
