The modern notion of homosexuality was born in 1867.
In some novels of Adalbert Stifter, which were written in 1840s and 1850s,we can find some kinds of homoerotic desire and homoerotic relationships.
We will two Stifter's novels as well as secondary literature focusing on this topic, so that we would discuss about the historical constellation and meanings of such texts.

Homosexualität (homosexuality) 概念は1867年に提唱されたとされている。
同性愛のカテゴリー化および「同性愛者」という人物類型の確立の少し前に書かれたAdalbert Stifterの小説には同性愛的欲望が複数の形で記されているものがある。その例となる作品と先行研究を購読しつつ、その文化史的意味を議論するとともに、クィア批評の在り方を模索していく。
