Students will learn basics of econometrics and acquire the knowledge required to conduct empirical analysis. Students will study basics of traditional econometrics in Special Lecture on Econometrics 1.
Students will study basic econometrics at senior undergraduate or master’s degree level. Students will review probability and statistics before progressing to single regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. After that, students will study analyses that use panel data analysis, linear statistics, logit and probit models, and instrumental variable method. Students will focus on learning basics of traditional econometric thinking, while considering modern analytical frameworks and analytical techniques covered in Special Lecture on Econometrics 2. Students should have mathematical skill equivalent to Introduction to Econometrics (2014) by Stock and Watson.

計量経済学の理論の基礎を学び、実証分析を行う際に必要となる知識を身に着ける。計量経済特論１では伝統的な計量経済学の基礎を学ぶ。
Students will learn basics of econometrics and acquire the knowledge required to conduct empirical analysis. Students will study basics of traditional econometrics in Special Lecture on Econometrics 1.
学部上級及び大学院修士レベルの計量経済学の基礎理論を学ぶ。確率・統計の復習から入り、単回帰分析や多重回帰分析などの基礎事項を学んだあとに、パネルデータ分析、線形確率・ロジット・プロビットモデルの分析、操作変数法を用いた分析などを学ぶ。計量経済特論２で取り上げる、より現代的な分析フレームや分析手法を意識しつつ、伝統的な計量経済学の考え方の基礎を身に着けることに重点を置く。なお、本授業に必要な数学レベルは、テキストであるStock and Watson(2014)"Introduction to Econometrics"である。
