Students will acquire methodologies for historical research using Yingluo (ornaments of Buddhist origin) and jewellery as research materials, and acquire the ability to carry out actual research.
This course will be conducted in a seminar format. Student presentations and discussions will be combined with faculty review and guidance to facilitate this course. Students will examine previous research on Yingluo (ornaments of Buddhist origin) and report it.

瓔珞・宝飾を研究資料とした歴史研究の方法論を習得し、実際に研究を進める能力を身につける。
Students will acquire methodologies for historical research using Yingluo (ornaments of Buddhist origin) and jewellery as research materials, and acquire the ability to carry out actual research.
瓔珞・宝飾をめぐる諸問題についてのこれまでの研究を検証し、学術研究の方法について学ぶ。授業はゼミ形式で実施。受講生による発表と討論、教員による講評と指導を組み合わせて進める。
受講者は、発表時に分担された対象論文を要約し、使用している史資料および参考文献をチェックしたうえで、その研究に対する批評をおこなうこと。
