The relationship between light and materials is one of fundamental properties of molecules, leading to various applications such as photocatalysts, solar cells, and other optical materials. First, the relationship between light and molecules is introduced. Subsequently, its application are introduced.

マクロとミクロの視点から見た、光と物質の相互作用についての基礎と応用を理解する。
To learn relationship and its application between light and materials from macro and micro perspectives.
光との相互作用は、分子・物質の基礎的性質の一つであり、光触媒、太陽電池、光学材料など多くの応用研究の基礎となる。本講義ではまず、光と分子の相互作用について、ミクロとマクロな視点からみた物質の光学的性質と、物質中の光の伝搬について学ぶ。また、それを応用した研究事例について紹介する。
