To Learn intermediate-level multivariate analysis techniques used in quantitative sociology.
Assuming that graduate students have learned the basics of social statistics and multivariate analysis, you will need the knowledge and knowledge to understand academic papers and apply those methods, especially intermediate-level models, to write your own papers. The purpose is to acquire skills. Learn everything from data collection and handling to analysis and interpretation based on a sociological standpoint. Students will also practice using the statistical software SPSS.

計量社会学での応用で利活用される、中級レベルの多変量解析技法を学ぶ。
To Learn intermediate-level multivariate analysis techniques used in quantitative sociology.
社会統計学や多変量解析の基礎を学んでいる事を前提に、それらの手法、とりわけ中級レベルのモデルについて、学術論文を理解することや、適用して自身の論文を執筆するための知識・技能を身に付ける事を目的とする。社会学的な立場に基づいて、データの収集やハンドリングから、解析そして解釈までを学ぶ。統計ソフトウェアSPSSを使用した実習もおこなう。
