In this course, students will gain insights into the impact of the increasing rate of enrollment in higher education on Japanese society by reading literature on educational stratification and the transition from school to work. The presenter of each literature will deliver a presentation on the content. In addition to the presenters, other students will prepare comments, and everyone will engage in a group discussion.
The course will explore English literature on the topics of higher education enrollment, educational inequalities, and the transition from school to work. All the participants in this course are required to read the literature and prepare comments in advance in order to make the discussion fruitful.

この授業では、高等教育への進学と教育格差や学校から職業への移行にかんする英語文献を読むことを通じ、高等教育進学率の上昇が日本社会に何をもたらすのか、アメリカとの比較で考えられる視野を獲得する。文献の報告担当者は内容に関するプレゼンを行う。報告担当以外の受講生もコメントを用意し、全員でディスカッションを行う。

高等教育への進学と教育格差や職業への移行にかんする英語文献を取り上げる。各回について文献レビュー担当を割り振るが、ディスカッションを実りあるものとするために出席者は全員事前に文献を読み、コメントを用意してくることが求められる。
The course will explore English literature on the topics of higher education enrollment, educational inequalities, and the transition from school to work. All the participants in this course are required to read the literature and prepare comments in advance in order to make the discussion fruitful.
