【Course Objectives】

The objective of this course is to learn the competition and consumer law issues surrounding digital platforms.

【Course Contents】

In recent years, there has been much debate in many countries around the world over how to deal with the competitive and consumer protection issues raised by digital platforms. The theoretical foundations of the issues surrounding digital platforms are common to many countries around the world. In this lecture, therefore, we aim to understand the business strategies and competition and consumer protection issues of digital platforms through reading and reviewing a report published by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, the Australian regulatory authority.
