【Course Objectives】

What does it means to listen to the “voices” which we encounter in the fields. And what is the relationship between listening to and talking to? Making “story-telling,” which include both “listening” and “talking,” as the keyword, we will deepen thoughts about the poverty of body and words, and responsibility through reading some texts.

【Course Contents】

Reading, listening, talking, and expressing are themes of this session and we will read some texts on the themes. Some workshops will be offered to experience thinking with your “body.” We often think “listening” and “talking” are some ordinary and mundane practices. In this session, we will inquire how practices of listening and talking determine the quality of the field and that how they become the foundation of life to overcome some difficulties. Students will be required to have a positive attitude. We are planning to have a guest speaker who is an expert on listening who lost their place in society and on "rap" workshop.
