Intended for students who have completed the beginner level. The goal of this course is to review grammar items and sentence patterns that students learned at the beginner level so as to be able to use them correctly and fluently.
The course also aims to turn students’ knowledge of sentence patterns and vocabulary into active language skills that they can use in everyday situations.
Students will study writing more natural, complex, and longer sentences by practicing combining different sentence patterns that they studied individually in the beginners’ course.
Students will also practice producing correct Japanese by writing shorter sentences. At the same time, they will complete oral exercises to improve their daily Japanese conversation skills.

初級(しょきゅう)修了(しゅうりょう)レベルの学習者(がくしゅうしゃ)を対象(たいしょう)とし,初級(しょきゅう)で学習(がくしゅう)した文法(ぶんぽう)事項(じこう),文型(ぶんけい)を復習(ふくしゅう)しながら,それらが正(ただ)しく,流暢(りゅうちょう)に使(つか)えるようになることを目指(めざ)す。学生(がくせい)が知識(ちしき)として持(も)っている文型(ぶんけい)や語彙(ごい)を,日常(にちじょう)生活(せいかつ)の様々(さまざま)な場面(ばめん)で活用(かつよう)できるレベルに高(たか)めることを目(め)指(ざ)す。

初級(しょきゅう)レベルでは別々(べつべつ)に勉強(べんきょう)した文型(ぶんけい)を複数(ふくすう)組(く)み合(あ)わせて,より日本語(にほんご)らしい文(ぶん)や,長(なが)くて複雑(ふくざつ)な文(ぶん)を作成(さくせい)できるような練習(れんしゅう)を行(おこな)う。短文(たんぶん)作成(さくせい)のような練習(れんしゅう)を通(とお)して,正確(せいかく)な日本語(にほんご)を産出(さんしゅつ)する練習(れんしゅう)を行(おこな)うとともに,口頭(こうとう)での発話(はつわ)練習(れんしゅう)も同時(どうじ)に行(おこな)い,日常(にちじょう)会話(かいわ)の中(なか)で,実践的(じっせんてき)に日本語(にほんご)を使(つか)う練習(れんしゅう)を行(おこな)う。
