To understand how financial market works and how a firm makes decisions of investment, financing, and payout.
We study how the prices of basic financial instruments such as bonds and stocks are determined in the market. We also learn how a firm raises necessary capital from the market, uses it to
make investments, and distributes the profits to investors.
