Through student presentations and literature readings, we will examine the fundamental question of the philosophy of education, "What is education for human beings in the first place?”
The goal is for students to acquire more advanced knowledge, skills, and the ability to write papers than in the first semester.
This course is a philosophical study of "what education is. Themes such as philosophy of education, principles of educational policy, educational ethics, moral education, and philosophy of special-needs education will be covered, basically through presentations and discussions by each participant. This year, we will focus on the philosophy of embodied cognition and performance. The Oxford Handbook of 4E Cognition will be listed as the textbook, but if students wish to collaborate on literature reading, that will be taken up as well. Students will also give periodic presentations related to their master's thesis or doctoral dissertation.

「人間にとってそもそも教育とは何か」という教育哲学の根本問題について、学生による発表と文献講読を通して考察してゆきます。
なお、前期課程よりも高度な知識、スキル、論文作成力を身に付けることを目標とする。

「教育とは何か」について哲学的に考察していきます。教育哲学、教育政策の原理、教育倫理、道徳教育、特別支援教育の哲学といったテーマを扱いますが、基本的に受講者それぞれによる発表とディスカッションを中心に進めていきます。今年度は、身体性認知やパフォーマンスの哲学をテーマにします。教科書として、The Oxford Handbook of 4E Cognition を挙げておきますが、受講者から共同して文献講読を行いたい希望があった場合には、それを取り上げます。また修士論文・博士論文に関連する発表を定期的に行います。
