This course aims for students to acquire the theoretical foundations and observational facts of modern cosmology at very high levels by reading an English textbook and discussions.
In this course, we will learn the field of cosmology, which deals with the origin and evolution of our Universe and its nature as a whole. This lecture will be given in the form of a round-table discussion of a textbook on cosmology for graduate students. The presenter of each chapter or section will be decided in advance at the first guidance, and the presenter should understand the contents of the assigned sections and make notes for writing on the board by the day of the lecture. Non-presenters should prepare for each lecture and ask questions to the presenters.

現代宇宙論の理解に必要な理論的基礎と観測的事実を非常に高いレベルで習得する。そのために、英語の教材で物理を学習して発表・議論をする力を身につける。
This course aims for students to acquire the theoretical foundations and observational facts of modern cosmology at very high levels by reading an English textbook and discussions.
宇宙物理学の中でも宇宙論と呼ばれる、宇宙の起源や進化・宇宙全体の性質について取り扱う分野を学習する。本講義は大学院向けの宇宙論の教科書を輪講する形式で行う。初回のガイダンスで各章・区分ごとの発表者を予め決めておき、発表者は当日までに担当箇所の内容を理解し板書をするためのノートを作っておく。発表者以外も毎回予習をし、発表者への質問などを用意しておくことが望ましい。

力学・電磁気学・熱統計力学・量子力学・相対性理論・物理数学の知識は前提とする。
