This class is aimed at learn how to work on resarch in applied psychology. The goal is to know the format of a paper as a tool for scholarly communication and to understand what needs to be considered when planning, conducting, and reporting research.
In this class, we will read the text "Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (seventh edition)" in turn. Each student will prepare a resume of the chapter for which he/she is responsible and present it to the class. Discussions will be held based on the presentations to deepen understanding of research methods.

応用心理学を研究するにあたり，どのように研究に取り組めばよいかを学ぶ。学術的コミュニケーションのツールである論文の形式を知るとともに，研究を計画・実施・報告する際に考えておくことが必要なことは何かを理解することを目指す。

テキスト”Publication Manual of American Psychological Association (seventh edition) ”を輪読する。受講者はそれぞれの担当章のレジメを作成し，発表する。発表を元に議論を行い，研究方法についての理解を深める。
