【Course Objectives】

The purpose of this lecture is to understand academic disputes on Policies in Local Governance and to be able to apply them to research activities.

【Course Contents】

In the midst of a declining population, most communities are facing a variety of challenges, including a declining birthrate and an aging population. To solve these issues, Policies in Local Governance such as Urban Policy, Housing Policy, Agricultural Policy, Industrial Policy, Transportation Policy, Social Policy, Cultural Policy, Educational Policy, Welfare Policy, Healthcare Policy, Environmental Policy, and Tourism Policy have been implemented.
The first half of this lecture will provide an overview of the current status of the community, and then analyze case studies of Policies in Local Governance and examine the problems and other issues that exist in the Policies in Local Governance. The second half of this lecture will make participants research Policies in Local Governance based on their own interests and present findings on a rotating basis. And a discussion will be set up for all participants to discuss the presentations.
