This course will expand one's horizons by reviewing various kinds of regional renovation cases in Japan. Students will be able to identify region-specific problems and find innovative solutions to revitalize Japanese economy.
This course explores outstanding regional renovation cases from deeply rural areas to the center of Tokyo. Students will be asked to read some books and to view films in advance, and participate in class discussion. We will invite some guest speakers to understand real-world innovation challenges.

日本各地で起こった革新的な地域再生事例を学び、視野を広げることを授業の目標とする。地域固有の問題をつきとめ、革新的な解決方法を見出すことで日本経済の再生策を探る。

この授業では、 日本の田舎から都心まで日本各地で起きている革新的な地域再生事例について学ぶ。授業の前に、指定された本や映画を観てくることで、活発なクラス・ディスカッションを行う。 実際のイノベーション事例を理解するために、ゲストスピーカーを招聘する。
