This course is presented across fields and disciplines from the philosophical and academic implications of social design (studies) that the Graduate School has consistently pursued, to the state as a practical social technology, and attempts to draw a sketch of this field. We would like to aim at "walking" with students in the world of social design (studies).
We want to explore "wild social design (studies)". Amid the emergence of social design as a somewhat good idea, this is because we believe that this attitude is necessary to move from social design for solutions (problem-solving) to upper case Social Design for realizing structural innovation (changing society). Meet other people, communicate with them, and in these relationships also come across the parties. Such a series of renewal work (targeting) is design as a dialog, and is it not redesigning the design = wild social design?

この科目は、本研究科が一貫して追究し続けてきた社会デザイン（学）の思想的・学問的含意から実践的な社会技術としてのありようまで、分野・領域横断的に提示し、その見取図を描いていこうとするものである。社会デザイン（学）の世界を受講者とともに「回遊」することをめざしたい。

「野生の社会デザイン（学）」を探究したい。ちょっといいアイデアといったsocial designが流行り出すなか、ソリューション（問題解決）を志向する社会デザインから、さらには構造的なイノベーション（社会を変える）を実現する大文字のSocial Designへと進むためにどうしても必要な姿勢だと考えるからである。他者と出会い、交信し、その関係性のなかで当事者性にも出くわす。そんな更新作業（対象化）の連続こそダイアログとしてのデザインであり、デザインをデザインし直すこと＝野生の社会デザインなのではないだろうか。

社会デザインは広範なテーマを含むため、幅広い分野への多様な知的好奇心を持って授業に臨むことが求められる。
資料配布、課題提示などに「Canvas LMS」を使用するので、授業にPCを持参すること。
関連する公開講演会、研究会、自主ゼミ等について、授業で随時紹介する。
本科目は授業回の全てにおいて、理論等学術的な知見を踏まえつつ、担当教員の実務家としての経験、または研究成果を活かし、教員と学生との双方向の討論を重視した実践的な授業とする。学生には、課題の発表や討論など、授業での積極的な参加を期待する。
