In this course, students are expected to prepare their master's thesis or research report based on their research theme.
In this course, students are expected to select and set the theme for their master's thesis or research report and conduct individual research under the guidance and advice of the faculty.

修士論文または研究報告書の作成に向けて、受講生が設定したテーマに基づき研究指導を行う。対象領域は主として、以下の研究領域とする。
リスク学、リスクガバナンス、リスクコミュニケーション、防災政策、危機管理、災害医療・福祉、放射性廃棄物、防災教育、災害情報、情報政策、地理空間情報、オープンデータ、ソーシャルウェア、コミュニティガバナンス、地域活性化、まちづくり、デジタルアーカイブ、オーラルヒストリー、ワークスタイル、テレワーク、モバイル建築など

本科目は授業回の全てにおいて、理論等学術的な知見を踏まえつつ、担当教員の実務家としての経験、または研究成果を活かし、教員と学生との双方向の討論を重視した実践的な授業とする。学生には、課題の発表や討論など、授業での積極的な参加を期待する。
