【Course Objectives】

In this course, students learn the characteristics of the building to be viewed and its planning method, and they think about architectural planning to enrich the living environment.

【Course Contents】

Not only are historical buildings that have served as the setting for historical events becoming tourist attractions, but some buildings are also tourist attractions because of their unique design. The architectural purpose of these buildings is different from that of tourist facilities, where people visit to enjoy the services provided to tourists in the building. Despite this, it is treated as a tourist destination and has actually become a tourist resource. We will use specific examples to discuss and deepen our understanding of the challenges faced when living spaces become tourist destinations and how to proceed with plans that will be acceptable to the people living there.
