【Course Objectives】

Understand the relationship between agriculture and the food industry from a "food system" approach, and understand the actual state of agricultural production and food distribution, as well as the communication of food safety, value-addition, labeling and certification systems, and marketing. And that, students will acquire higher ability for writing thesis.

【Course Contents】

Agriculture is connected to various related industries and provides many business opportunities. In agriculture and related industries, the number of businesses oriented toward globalization through export is increasing, but there are still many farmers and businesses that continue to have their strengths in localization. The latter is more likely to be linked to related industries. In this course, we will understand the above-mentioned actual situation from the food system approach, and consider the issues and points of contention that arise there. And that, students will acquire higher ability for writing thesis.
