この講義では、損益計算書・貸借対照表とキャッシュフロー計算書の関係を理解し、会計（アカウンティング）における利益の計算だけでなく、財務(ファイナンス)におけるキャッシュのマネジメント方法を理解する。

・会計学基礎や企業財務基礎などのアカウンティング・ファイナンスの関連科目を受講していることが望ましい。
・講義では表計算ソフト（Microsoft Excel）を用いた演習を行うことがあります。
本科目は、5年以上の実務経験を有する実務家教員による授業であり、全授業回数の50％以上がディスカッションなど双方向形式の授業によって運営されます。本科目は博士課程前期課程と博士課程後期課程の合同授業となるが，後期課程の受講者においては，全ての評価方法で前期課程より高度な達成水準を要求します。
