Innovation isn’t just for startups. Established organizations and family business in declining industries have even greater opportunities to innovate. This course offers fresh insights and different thinking of business design. Students will learn best practices and innovative frameworks to revitalize business.
We review hands-on cases from the declining industries such as agriculture, ryokan or tofu manufacture. Although human and financial resources are limited in the declining industries, excellent innovators will find the way to transform the business. We will invite some guest speakers to understand real-world innovation challenges.

イノベーションを起こすのはスタートアップ企業だけではなく、衰退産業といわれる 既存企業や家業にもイノベーションを起こす大きな機会がある。この授業はビジネス・デザインの新たな切り口と思考法を提供する。どんな組織であってもイノベーションを起こすためのベストプラクティスやフレームワークを修得する。

農業・旅館・豆腐製造といった衰退産業から実践的な事例研究をする。人材や資金が限られている衰退産業であっても、イノベーターはビジネスを成長させ事業変革をする道を見つけることを学ぶ。実際のイノベーション事例を理解するために、ゲストスピーカーを招聘する。

毎回リアクションペーパーを提出するため、単位の取得には毎回の出席が必須です。
本科目は、5年以上の実務経験を有する実務家教員による授業であり、全授業回数の50％以上がディスカッションなど双方向形式の授業によって運営されます。本科目は博士課程前期課程と博士課程後期課程の合同授業となるが，後期課程の受講者においては，全ての評価方法で前期課程より高度な達成水準を要求します。
