Notes 社会デザイン研究科では、教室での対面授業を基本としながら、同時に遠隔地在住の学生の学びを保証するため、オンラインでも受講できる形で授業を行う。なお、履修者全員の了承が取れた場合には、「対面のみ」もしくは「オンラインのみ」で授業を行うこともある。

【Course Objectives】

In this course, participating students will analyze government/administration's role to build sustainable society and will study good governance for sustainable society. Multi-stakeholder cooperation and civic participation are important aspects in this regard. By these studies, students are expected to obtain clues for their action and research.

【Course Contents】

SDGs are often called "common language". Building sustainable society requires various stakeholders participation, however, government and administration are regarded as major players among them. In this course, participants study policy making and implementation process, and collaborations between government and various stakeholders.on mainly environmental issues. Participants will also identify the importance of multi stakeholder participation and "environmental democracy" such as access to information, public participation and access to justice, which are essential for sustainable society.
The themes and order of this course schedule may change according to the interests and questions of the course participants.
