【Course Objectives】

In this class, students will learn basic concepts and theories about the image and the body, and prepare to apply them to their own research and production.

【Course Contents】

In this class, we will (1) follow the genealogy of image theory and body theory, (2) position the new humanities of the 21st century in a diachronic and synchronic manner, and (3) explain its basic concepts. (4) The relationship between philosophy and art will also be discussed in accordance with students' interests, in order to dynamically reconsider human beings and the universe in the context of philosophical theory and artistic practice, while drawing on the findings of contemporary humanities sciences.
