Students will acquire basic knowledge of labor economics and grasp the actual conditions surrounding labor, and understand various phenomena in the employment society from the perspective of labor economics.
Thus, Students will be able to think theoretically about the direction labor issues should take.
This lecture will address and consider contemporary labor issues based on the knowledge of labor theory, history, systems, etc., learned in Labor Economics 1. First, the social economic structure and changes to labor policy and systems will be considered and then the important points in contention regarding contemporary Japanese labor economics, such as diversification of the employment patterns, female labor, employment of youth and the elderly, and IT-ization etc., will be discussed while also making mention of statistical data and fact-finding surveys.

各回の予習・復習にはそれぞれ2時間程度を要する。

授業の進め方の詳細は、初回の授業で説明します。
・労働経済学の基本的な知識を習得する。
・労働を取り巻く実態を把握するともに、労働経済学の観点から雇用社会の諸現象を理解する。
・労働に関する課題のあるべき方向性について理論的に考えられる。
Students will acquire basic knowledge of labor economics and grasp the actual conditions surrounding labor, and understand various phenomena in the employment society from the perspective of labor economics.
Thus, Students will be able to think theoretically about the direction labor issues should take.
本講義では、労働経済論１で習得した労働に関わる理論、歴史、制度などの知識を前提に、労働をめぐる現代的な課題を具体的に取り上げ、検討する。最初に、社会経済構造と労働政策・制度の変化について考察したうえで、雇用形態の多様化、女性労働、若年者・高齢者雇用、ＩT化と労働など、現代日本の労働経済に関する重要な論点を統計データや実態調査にも言及しながら論じていく。
This lecture will address and consider contemporary labor issues based on the knowledge of labor theory, history, systems, etc., learned in Labor Economics 1.
