Students will understand the current situation of Israeli–Palestinian conflict. From there, students will understand one part of international politics and world peace.
Israeli-Palestinian conflict is said to be one of the most difficult disputes to solve in the world. Why has the problem not been solved for over 70 years?
The lecturer would like to create an opportunity for students to think from multiple perspectives about war, religion, justice, peace and international politics while unraveling the historical backgrounds.
She worked as an international cooperation NGO staff member in the Palestinian territories from August 2012 to February 2017, and implemented health projects for children in Gaza and the West Bank while living in East Jerusalem. She has visited Gaza more than 100 times. If you are interested in non-biased Israeli-Palestine conflict, or in peace, justice, religion, politics and international cooperation, please take this course.

パレスチナ問題の現状を理解すること。そこから、国際政治のあり方や、平和について再考すること。
Students will understand the current situation of Israeli–Palestinian conflict. From there, students will understand one part of international politics and world peace.
世界で最も解決するのが難しい紛争の一つと言われる、「パレスチナ－イスラエル問題」。70年以上も問題が解決されないのは何故でしょうか？歴史的背景を紐解きながら、戦争について、宗教について、平和や正義について、国際政治について、多角的に考える機会を作りたいと思います。
講師は2012年8月～2017年2月までパレスチナ自治区で国際協力NGO職員として活動していました。東エルサレムに住みながら、ガザ地区と西岸地区で子どものための保健事業を実施。ガザには100回程訪れています。パレスチナ問題を知りたい方、平和、正義、宗教、政治、国際協力等に興味のある方、是非受講してみてください。
