【Course Objectives】

The purpose of this course is to examine 20th-century European political history from the perspective of various democracies, and acquire the ability to understand political thought, political history, and comparative politics.

【Course Contents】

Through the reading of Jan-Werner Müller ‘Contested Democracy’, we will grasp the trajectory of various democracies in Europe in the 20th century. In addition, we examines the crises facing contemporary Europe. According to the interest of the participants, we will also examine relations with the outside of Europe.
