【Course Objectives】

The aim is to develop a broad perspective to understand the relationship between the present and future Japan and neighboring Asia and the world through a historical perspective.

【Course Contents】

Yoon Dong-ju is a leading Korean poet who has studied at Rikkyo University in 1942. In the class, focusing on the personal history of Yoon Dong-ju and his work, we will reconsider the overall history of Japan and the Korean Peninsula in the 20th century, and examine the relationship between the nation, ethnic groups and individuals in the world since the modern age, I will explain the factors that drive history in modern history and its meaning today.
