【Course Objectives】

The purpose of this course is to use comparative political approaches to understand and conduct research on different problems in Europe and the world. The main topics in 2024 will be the relations between Europe, Ukraine, and Russia, and the new welfare state theories.

【Course Contents】

Participants read new literature about politics in Europe and prepare their comments to engage in debate. In the first half of the semester, topics such as the Ukraine issues as well as the welfare state theories will be discussed. In the second half, participants will discuss the applicability of comparative political approaches while presenting their topics.
