【Course Objectives】

Students will master the logical thinking skills and information literacy that form the foundation of university-level study, and improve their abilities to communicate, receive and originate information, and find and solve problems.

【Course Contents】

The cooperative learning method will be used to help students acquire logical thinking skills, the ability to find and solve problems, language skills, and interpersonal skills as well as time management skills. Students will also improve their discussion and presentation skills, and will further their understanding of nonverbal communication. Instructors will explain in class how students should prepare for cooperative learning exercises, and students will follow those instructions and read assignment texts in advance of classes.
Class activities will consist of small groups of students participating in discussions and presentations. Instructors will also explain and lead exercises on how to write reports.
